New Toy

Mum bought me a new toy... I am deeply suspicious - it is loud, has flashing lights and bits that come off... not sure about this... but IT IS MINE, SO NO ONE ELSE CAN HAVE IT :)

Cot antics

Hi my people

Sorry it has been so long between posts. My slack mum hasn't let me at the computer of late. However, no harm. Just thought I would let you know what I get up to in my cot when I am meant to be asleep....this contorted position is not easy to get into, let me tell you that!

What is this crawling thing everyone speaks of?

One hand - check, other hand - check, one knee - check (hang on, I am not normally on my knees!!!)

I think something is happening... I am progressing to the next stage of this game ...

onward and upward I say...

(Mum's note - while there may be hands and knees, there is no movement forward yet!)

Bath toys!!! YES

Hello people

Mum got her act into gear today and finally bought me some bath toys. She may have been regretting it as I became very grumpy when I was being taken out of my bath...

This is just me, gadding about...

Party?

Thursday night was quite exciting. Dad got all dressed up to go to a party! Unfortunately I am too little to go to parties, plus I didn't have to time to pick up a frock...

Eureka! A tooth...

Hello!

Well, you would think this thing in my mouth was a precious metal the way everyone is exclaiming and feeling my gums. It's a tooth, people. I will get and lose many more of them. And quit sticking your fingers into my mouth, its a tad tender there - they don't call it cutting teeth for nothing!!!

Rain Dance???

Well, this week has been interesting. My Thursday outing to meet my friends (Mum calls it Mothers Group, I like to refer to it as Babies Group), was interrupted with a strange event. We were at the Botantic Gardens enjoying the grass (Lachlan thought it made good food), and then some rather strangely dressed people appeared. I kinda liked their outfits because it appeared to involve dried mud (very attractive to a baby...) Anyway, they did this dance thing and everyone clapped. Apparently we want rain. Isn't life interesting...

Lavender Lamb - yippeeeeeeeee

Hello again

I thought it would be remiss of me not to introduce you to another of my very special play things. This one lives at my Canberra Grandma and Grandpa's. It is called Lavender Lamb, and every time I see it I nearly wet myself with excitement. When Mum and Dad bought Lavender Lamb, my Aunty Kristin was the first to christen it. Normally I would not allow that, but given it was Aunty Kristin, that was okay.

Then there was a great guessing competition as to what Lavender Lamb was - some people thought it was a cow, some a hippo - however, I always knew that it was a Lamb, I mean, what other animal would be green with a purple face. Mum is always reading my "Where is the Green Sheep", I mean, der people?!?!

Anyway, back to Lavender Lamb. Psycho dog is my favourite toy. Duck is the difficult toy (I mean there always has to be one in a family, doesn't there). Duck doesn't really like to be held much (he is very difficult to get a good grasp of...) Anyway, Lavender Lamb is fun and really comfy, what more could a baby ask for???
