Last week I found this great contraption in our study... it makes some great sounds, and the harder I hit it, the louder the sounds! Mum and Dad love it when I play for them...
Well, 19 January was a red letter day for fun. In the morning, we went to Mothers Group, where Walter and I launched a two baby attack on the fish tank... until foiled by Walter's Mum (darn it!)
Then Aunty Alison, Uncle Andrew, and most importantly, cousin Nicholas called round to our house (they were visiting in Canberra). Nicholas and I teamed up to make an assault on the stairs, the phones and all things electrical ... and to take in an over or two of the cricket!
It has come to my attention that there are lots of things which I just can't seem to reach - this is despite me being "very very tall" for my age. Frankly, I am not tall enough...
even on tippy toes...
oh blow it...
I'm climbing the steps in protest (read - off to find an alternative route to that little TV)
Again, I seem to have struck a chord with my standing up and trying to pull down my mobile routine... I think the days of the mobile at this height are numbered...
After a few weeks without a post (the hard drive died), there are lots of things to update you with... this is the first of my posts on "things that worry my parents". This is a great concept, which seems to come easily to me... and here we go...
Back home now, and because of all the fun I had at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Wentworth (which had vast expanses of crawling space), Mum and Dad have reogranised the living areas. Love it! And boy do I love those stairs, I can do them in 20 seconds flat, particularly when Mum thinks she has barracaded me downstairs with the bean bag. Silly woman... a mere bean bag cannot stop this baby. And by the way, did I tell you that I am now 9 months, 12.2kg and 80cms. Petite really :)
Still at Wenty, and getting more bold with my standing up moves. Look Mum, one hand!
I managed to cut 4 new teeth up top in the first week of 2007. It made me a tad irritable at the smallest thing, but thankfully (for my parents) it didn't affect my nighttime hibernation... love my 12 hours...
Here we are back at Grandma and Grandpa's place to celebrate Aunty Alison's birthday. Cousin Nicholas is again showing me stuff. We had great fun all evening... leading each other astray. This is Grandpa and Grandma later that night after we had gone to bed. I particularly think Grandpa hasn't had two kids under two in his house for a long time :)
